The rumor mills swirled this past winter with news that Kaz Okochi of Kaz Sushi Bistro and Richard Sandoval of Zengo were partnering to create a new Latin-Asian fusion restaurant on 14th Street; and tonight the U street corridor/Logan Circle warmly welcomed Masa 14 to the neighborhood.

The cavernous space is now home to the longest bar in Washington (65′ long!), and owns a prime spot on this very vibrant street.

The ReadysetDC team received a first look at Masa 14 today, sampling goodies and sipping tasty signature cocktails such as the Mojito MASA and the Red Star.

For now, check out some snapshots from our ReadysetDC field trip. Look out for our official review of Masa 14 next week.

Masa 14 is located at 1825 St. NW. Call (202) 328-1414 for reservations.
