ReadysetDC Presents FOR THE LOVE OF DC
Reported by JustinWell the time has come to drop the “[beta]” at the end of ReadysetDC. We are going to officially launch on December 10th. Come celebrate with us at the beautiful, newly re-opened Long View Gallery. The event includes an art show, with the works of ReadysetDC photo contributors Tracy Clayton, Paul Frederiksen and Lillian Cho, and an art installation by “No Kings” Collective. We will have music by DJ Tittsworth, Bullfight Academy and a special, secret, surprise rock band.
We are working with HP, Intel and Best Buy to bring you this amazing event. A $5 raffle ticket gets you the chance to win an HP ENVY 15 Beats Limited Edition, which is worth much more than five dollars. A majority of the proceeds will benefitĀ Arts for the Aging, Inc. (AFTA) a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides visual, performing, literary and intergenerational arts outreach programs specially designed to improve the health and enhance the lives of seniors throughout the metro D.C. area. Marvin is also providing something special for us.
Long View Gallery is 5,000 square feet, so please bring your friends! Please RSVP for this event. You can do that here. Also check out the Facebook event page here. Light fare and alcohol will be available.

Justin,
I went ahead and posted your December 10th launch on our Greg’s List DC website. Please let me know if that is not helpful to you and you’d like me to remove. Also, I’d be interested in attending the event myself, and perhaps doing a brief Greg’s List DC Culture Section Spotlight Review. Would it be possible to add me to your press attendee list?
Thanks.
Warm Regards,
Andrea
