  • Another vid of what was a very good time (before that cop decided a snowball hitting his Hummer was a matter worth drawing a gun over): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-q5UjjuOX0

  • good times. I enjoyed the “Don’t bring a gun to a snowball fight chant”. the cop/gun thing did get a little out of hand though. I understand you don’t like having the two tons of metal that surround you hit with some fluffy snowballs but seriously no reason to act like that. Anyone know how that resolved itself? I rolled a little bit after the other cop cars showed up.

  • Those involved in the impromptu snow ball fight at a MAJOR intersection should have been LOCKED UP. GROW UP! You cannot move into a major metropolitan area from heaven knows what suburb in America and expect the same rules of the game. If you want to be an adult, then ACT LIKE ONE and go up the street to Malcom X Park and have your snow ball fight. I drove thru that intersection at about 10 am to go to the grocery store, thank God i was not hit by a snow ball because i would have gotten out, not with a gun, but with my fist & baseball bat ready to kick some A%*!

  • Snowball fight does NOT equal stressful and dangerous situations. The guys car was hit with a snowball….KEEP DRIVING!

Instead the guy leaves his car in the middle of the street (dumb #1), gets out (dumb #2), gets hit with multiple snowballs (that’s what happens when you’re in a snowball fight), pulls his gun (really dumb #3), then tries to tell a mass group of people to stop throwing snowballs (clearly this guy doesn’t have any kids of his own), then tries to confront said snowball thrower (he should have taken his ball and gone home).

Did this guy grow up in Florida? Anyone over the age of 40 (and he looks like he’s 50) and grew up where it snows, knows the exhilaration of throwing snowballs at cars. Please! Kids (and adults for that matter) enjoy throwing snowballs at cars. It’s a right of passage.

“Lighten up Frances!” and you too Detective Baylor!

  • Frosty the Snowman and all of those who participated clearly demonstrate the empty brained thoughts of our youth. “Over 50″ what does that mean Frosty? Maybe you should take some notes and the next time you and yr friends feel like engaging in “rights of passge” do it in a location where you dont put others lives in danger. The streets of WDC are not your personal “Animal House.” GROW UP.

  • Although pulling a gun out is definitely going overboard what entitles people to throw snowballs at passing cars (Hummer or whatever it may be), with the amount of snow on the ground and unsafe driving conditions why would you make an already dangerous situation more difficult by throwing a snowball at a passing vehicle.

I’m all for good fun and definitely not on the side of the cop but this just went a bit too far with all parties involved.
