Don’t Forget; Restaurant Week!
Reported by JordanThe first Restaurant Week of the new year (and decade) is upon us. The 16th Washington, DC Restaurant Week begins today, ending Jan. 17th. Nearly 180 Washington restaurants will offer three-course lunches for $20.10 and three-course dinners for $35.10. Several DC establishments are breaking all of the rules, turning their Restaurant Week into a Restaurant Month. Jaleo, Art and Soul, Willow, Zaytinya and Zengo are just a handful of restaurants extending through Jan. 24th. Restaurant Week is prime time to discover why DC chefs are getting national attention for thier creative ventures. Visit one of the restaurants of Jose Andres, the man credited with bringing Spanish small plates to the United States. The man behind Jaleo, Minibar, Cafe Atlantico, Oyamel and Zaytinya, just so happens to be GQ’s Chef of the Year. Been there, done that? Then check out Esquire’s Chef of the Year, Barton Seaver’s farm to table restaurant Blue Ridge. Don’t forget to make your reservations!
