Pop Up @ U Street is lovingly presented by Monument Music and Arts Festival and Dreams for Kids, who have have joined forces with The Corcoran Gallery of Art’s Jackie Cantwell to put together an incredible lineup of artists to show and sell during an evening of silent and live auctions. Artists showing have generously agreed to donate 20% of the proceeds to Dreams for Kids, a organization that unites at-risk children of diverse backgrounds through community outreach and service learning via after-school clubs, in-school workshops, and national conferences. Hosted at Affinity Lab’s newest space at 920 U Street from 6:00 to 10:00, Pop Up @ U Street will be soundtracked by live music from Matthew Hemerlein, Philippe Chetrit (Fatback DC), and One Big Woo.
