Ping Pong Dim Sum made it’s official U.S. debut a few weeks ago in DC, located between the Convention Center and Verizon Center on 7th street in Chinatown/Shaw. As the very first location in the States, Ping Pong Dim Sum delivers a contemporary take on Chinese dim sum by introducing Washington to a 21st century tea house and dim sum experience.

Yesterday I had the chance to preview Ping Pong Dim Sum, which will be the first in the US. The restaurant is 6,100 square feet, and offers seating for 238. The planned opening is this Saturday the 12th. They plan on offering both midday and late night happy hours.
